Attribute Groups Editor

This editor is available from the Attribute Groups tab of the Configuration Editor.

This is where you can add, edit, and delete attribute groups. An attribute group is simply a group of attributes. You can assign certain attributes to an attribute group, and then assign the group to a tag name. This is an easy way to quickly assign multiple attributes to a tag name. You can then later add and delete attributes from an attribute group, and all tag names that have the affected attribute group assigned to its attribute list will be automatically updated.

List Boxes

Attributes - Contains a list of all possible attributes that can be assigned to an attribute group. See below for the buttons used to add and delete attributes to and from this list box.
Attributes in group - Contains a list of attributes that are in the attribute group being configured. To remove an attribute from the Attributes In Group List Box, select the attribute to remove and click the delete button (<-) or double click the attribute to remove. To add an attribute to the Attributes In Group List Box, select an attribute from the Attributes List Box and click the add button (->) or double click the attribute to add.

Combo Boxes

Attribute Group Being Configured - Use this combo box to select which attribute group is being configured (edited).

Push Buttons

New Group - Press this button to add a new attribute group to the Attributes List Box. The attribute group that is added is the string contained in the edit box above the New Group Button. Parenthesis are automatically added around the group name to help distinguish attributes from attribute groups.
Delete Attribute - Press this button to delete the attribute or attribute group selected in the Attributes List Box. Built-in attributes cannot be deleted. Also note that if you delete an attribute, all tag names that are assigned the deleted attribute will no longer be assigned the attribute.
-> - Press this button to add the selected attribute in the Attributes List Box to the Attributes In Group List Box. Note that you may also double click an attribute in the Attributes List Box instead of pressing this button.
<- - Press this button to delete the selected attribute in the Attributes In Group List Box. Note that you may also double click an attribute in the Attributes In Group List Box instead of pressing this button.
